The crash occurred in Yorktown Heights at around 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20 on Route 202 (Crompond Road) at the intersection to the entrance of the plaza anchored by BJ's Wholesale Club and Staples.
As many as six to eight people were reportedly treated for injuries, with some of the injuries believed to be serious with extrication required.
According to witnesses, an SUV hit a truck before veering into another lane where vehicles were stopped at a traffic signal.
The intersection was closed for about two hours after the crash.
